Popped into Wetherspoons for lunch it was decent. I went for the chicken burger and chips, which is the sort of thing I used to grab all the time with mates back at uni, so it had a bit of a nostalgic feel for me. The food came out hot, the chips were nice and crispy, and the portion size was good for the price. The burger tasted fresh enough, though I would’ve liked a bit more sauce on it. It’s not fancy by any means, but for a quick, cheap lunch, it definitely does the job. I’d give it 4 stars.

I like that there always seems to be a location nearby whenever I’m in town. It makes meeting up with mates easy. Nothing too fancy, but it does the job and is really convenient.

I popped into my local Wetherspoons last week the food and drinks were fine, pretty much what you’d expect. The awkward part was the service. The staff didn’t come across as very friendly, and when I asked a simple question, it felt like I was being a nuisance. What made it more annoying was that the communication wasn’t clear either, so I left feeling a bit confused and uncomfortable rather than welcome. Maybe they were just rushed off their feet or having an off day, but it definitely affected the visit. Not a terrible experience, just not one I’d be in a hurry to repeat

I mostly use the site to check Wetherspoons opening hours and, umm, it does the job okay. Some pubs have the times shown clearly, but with others they feel a bit tucked away, so I end up double-checking on Google just to be sure. It’d also be helpful if holiday hours were updated a bit quicker. It’s not bad overall, just could be easier to use.

I tried paying on jdwetherspoon.com and it just kept loading before failing twice. My card worked perfectly fine elsewhere, so it was definitely frustrating. It finally went through after ages, but it’s annoying when you’re only trying to order a drink. i’d expect at least an apology for the hassle.

I keep coming back because it feels like a good value every time. Maybe it’s not always the cheapest, I don’t really check that carefully, but it just seems worth it whenever I buy

I ordered a beer and a gin, and they didn’t really hit the mark for me. The pint seemed a bit warm and kind of flat, and the mixer in the gin tasted like it might’ve been on the cheaper side. The staff were perfectly fine, so no complaints there, but I’m not sure the drinks were worth it this time

I visited in my wheelchair and had a really smooth experience. The ramp was easy to use, the disabled toilet was clean, and the staff kindly moved a chair out of the way without making it feel like a big deal. It made the whole visit much more comfortable for me.

Got served really fast, no messing around or waiting forever... just in and out, which I appreciated.

Popped in for a quick bite and a drink. The food was okay for the price, nothing amazing but did the job lol. Staff were fine enough too. The only letdown was the toilets — wet floor, tissue everywhere, and one cubicle didn’t even have a lock. I get places get busy, but it looked like they hadn’t been checked in ages. Just wish they were kept cleaner, really.
